Dr Edward Bach, 1886 - 1936The Flower Remedies were discovered by Dr Edward Bach, a Harley Street consultant, bacteriologist and homeopath. In the 30's he gave up his lucrative practice and London life to go back to nature and the roots of the healing process. He devoted his full time to seeking energies in the plant world which would restore vitality to the sick, so that the sufferer himself would be able to overcome his worry, sadness, isolation etc., and so assist in his own healing. He devised a very simple system with 38 flower remedies, each corresponding
to a different mental state. More information about his life and his work on www.edwardbach.org, www.healing-herbs.co.uk and www.bachcentre.com |
